Liquid Watercolor Tie Dye

Pseudo-tie dyed background papers using liquid watercolors from Dick Blick on paper towels.

This is part of a technique that Traci Bautista uses on her fusion collages.

Roots

This was a little too wide for my scanner! : ) Made from a plastic plate I had used as a palette, cut out and mounted on another plastic plate. Rope, fiber, inkjet print, plastic tree, acrylic paints.

Fun day painting with Morgan!

I spent the day painting with my step-daughter Morgan. It was a lot of fun. Below is a scan of a little canvas panel I created called Purple Bindi.

I actually managed to paint a face! I think this is a first for me. LOL! I used acrylic paint. The flowers are torn from some giftwrap that I just love, and the gold highlights in her hair and bindi are drawn on with a gold Pilot marker.
